Autogenic training

Autogenic training is a method of self-regulation of mental and autonomic functions, developed in the early 20th century. It is based on the active self on the background of muscle relaxation. This practice is widespread in medicine, and other related human activities.

It is advisable to apply other psychotherapeutic methods, in particular – combine with the therapeutic persuasion and suggestion.

Indications for use

Training is assigned in diseases such as encephalopathy with asthenic, vascular, hypothalamic syndromes, neuroses, tension headaches syndrome vegetative dystonia, migraine and depression.

Contraindications

  • Parkinson's Disease
  • Multiple sclerosis
  • Epilepsy, and cancer pathology of the nervous system
  • The consequences of injuries and diseases of the spinal cord and brain
  • Psychiatric disorders and drug addiction.
